Cowra POW Camp

Tony and Wayne run tours of the old POW site in Cowra that was home to more than 1100 japanese, italian, indonesian and german POW's during the war. In 1944 a mass breakout/suicide was attempted and 231 prisoners and 4 Australian soldiers lost their lives. Perhaps some of these spirits still wander the old prison......
