Government House in Hobart

Built in the late 1850s, this is the private and official residence of the State Governor. Lady Binney, wife of Admiral Sir Hugh Binney on th eve of their return to England in 1951 was said to say she would miss the ghost that haunted the halls of the building.
He was said to murmer only one thing "Its a quarter past eleven" Investigations into who the time conscious ghost was failed to reveal his identity.
